Title: D&G Event – Alta Sartoria Year: 2019 Location: Sciacca
An Exclusive celebration of the Sicilian Folklore took place in the first week of July 2019 in the province of Agrigento, Sicily, organized by the iconic duo of stylists Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce.
An all rounded Sicilian experience comprised of traditional “luminarie”, “carretti”, and “bancarelle” with local food and crafts. A full immersion of Mediterranean glory to conclude the unforgettable days of Alta Artigianalità in occasion of the San Calogero festivity, patron of Agrigento.
Delineated by traditional and folkloristic “luminarie” and embellished with the statues of mythical Greek gods, the dinner to celebrate the Alta Sartoria Fashion Show in Piazza Angelo Scandaliato in Sciacca continued the festivities of Mediterranean beauty late into the Sicilian night.
The Luminarie were Inspired by Greek Columns and Wall Stucco Decorations proper of the churches and mindful of the Sicilian Baroque, with the elegance of Gold and Silver tones. A night truly unforgettable for the exclusive guest who had the pleasure to attend this one of a kind event.
